VESA Standards
Our list of suitable TV sizes is perfect for most TVs, but if you are concerned about accidents or your TV is not listed, the most important thing to consider when determining if the bracket will fit your TV is the VESA standard.
In addition, the screws we provide will fit most televisions, so if they don't fit, please contact your TV seller for the right screws for your TV.
What does VESA mean?
The VESA standard, also known as VESA dimensions, defines the standard for the mounting interface of monitors and televisions. The standard VESA is made up of four hole positions.
The VESA mounting standard specifies the dimensions of the four-hole mounting interface on the back of the monitor and the screws used to mount those holes. It also specifies the location of the hole pattern on the monitor.
Which VESA standard am I using?
The easiest way is to measure the VESA standard of your TV. You can easily find the four holes on the back of your TV. First measure the horizontal distance between the holes and then measure the vertical distance. The measurements are given in millimetres. Now you know the VESA standard of your TV. Or you can contact your TV seller to ask about the specific parameters of your TV set.
Alternatively, you can check the VESA information in the device's data sheet or on the manufacturer's technical data page.
Is my monitor VESA compatible?
We have a ‘TV VESA Charts’ section on every TV stand product page for your reference, again with measurements in millimetres.
If your TV is large, even if it is VESA compatible, it is best to look at the weight capacity of the stand, stability comes first. For more Buying Guide related content, you can jump to our Buying Guide for more information.
